In this assignment you will first design 16 compositions using line. Then choose the 2 best from these drawings and translate them into a paper design. Black lines become paper cut with scissors. 

Experiment with different types of line, Thickness of Line, direction and placement.

Rubric:

A- Student Spent entire period designing compositions and carefully cutting paper, arranging and gluing. Work is complete and shoes a dynamic line design.

B- Student spent most time showing some mistakes but very little.

C-Student did not fully understand concept of creating a design using the material of paper and the concept of Line. 

D-Student was off task most of the time and turned in a completed project that lacks understanding and craftsmanship.

F- Student did not turn in an assignment or assignment is incomplete or minimal.
