Harnessing the disconnect between human and environment I depict the figure in distress. I am painting the human as distracted, abstracted, and altered. This is the conflict to which my narrative seeks to overcome and does so by creating various human forms championing, and is some cases, being overtaken by the ground they walk on creating paintings as images of caution.
